Chalked Crown Hair

Steps :
1 : Starting with a side part, french braid the side with more hair. Keep the french braid against your head until you've reached the ear, then continue the braid away from the head.
2 : Braid the other side in a loose braid starting at ear height (leave some hair down below the braid to hang over your ears).
3 : Pull the braid across the front of your head and pin it in to the french braid so that it is secure across your forehead like a head band (tuck the ends of the braid into the french braid to make it look like one continued braid around the head).
4 : Pull the french braid around the back of the head and pin it in to the opposite braid.
5 : Use different colours of Kevin Murphy Color Bugs or any hair chalk to add colour to the braided crown!

The romantic french twist

1. You’ll want to start with your hair prepped. I used SachaJuan mousse and some Dry Texture spray from Oribe. Your product foundation is what will make your hair more workable and more…holdable. Yes, holdable.
2. Pull your hair up into a mid-height ponytail but do not secure it with a hair tie. While you hold your ponytail with one hand, form an “L” (or backwards L) with your other hand.
3. Here is where it gets tricky. When you reach behind your head, your “L” will turn upside down.  Grab the top of your ponytail with your upside down “L” hand, hooking it with your thumb.
4. With your pony hooked, twist and turn you hand back upwards, looping the ponytail around your thumb. This is what forms the twist!
5. Grab the looped pony with your other hand, and gently remove your thumb. Keeping the position of the twist, start stuffing the loose end of the pony inside it to create a cushion.
6. Pin into place with hairpins or bobbie pins.
7. & 8. Spritz a little perfume..dab a little rouge..have yourself a romantic time.

Hello Kitty Funky French Nail Art thanks to Born Pretty

Most image plates have a very thin film that you might not even see. Just make sure to remove it.
Before I started stamping, I applied 2 coats my base coat of Brand 10, color #415, Pinky Promise
Now on to stamping. I used the flower image on the plate first, and used China Glaze Millenium for them. Then I used the cute Hello Kitty image, and Konad polish in black for that :)
Finally I did my black tips with Sinful's Black on Black and added a tiny rhinestone to her bow :)

Gather a small section of hair at the center of your forehead, about two inches wide and two inches back towards the crown of your head. Clip this section off to keep out of the way for now.

Striping Tape Nail Tutorial

How To :

- Make sure your nails are completely clean. If there's any oil or dirt on your nails, the tape will have a hard time sticking properly.
- Place strips of striping tape across your nail and double up a few to make thicker lines. Try to make sure the tape is stuck down all the way to the edges.
- One nail at a time, paint on your colour. Try to choose one that only needs one coat to be opaque.
- While the polish is still wet, peel off the tape in one smooth motion from one side to the other.
- Wait until the polish is completely dry and apply your top coat. I didn't wait long enough and you can see the smudges!
- Use a small paintbrush dipped in acetone to clean up around the edges and there you go!
